The UPS Store provides a mailroom management solution on many campuses to consolidate postal and parcel management. We also offer a full range of packaging, shipping and document services in a designated and easily accessible retail area on campus. This convenient solution allows you to focus on fostering education and research rather than tracking down care packages or lost boxes.

- Residential life mailroom management – Students in residential life can set up mailboxes at The UPS Store. All mail and courier packages will be received by The UPS Store and electronically logged and stored. Students will be notified by e-mail that a package has arrived. The UPS Store parcel tracking software will ensure effective package management and timely customer notification. Students will be able to pick up their parcels at a central location on campus. This provides customer confidence and peace of mind. Package tracking, storing and notification software will ensure consistent reliability and accountability for all students.
- Summer storage – Students who need to store large items such as televisions, refrigerators and other personal belongings can participate in a temporary summer storage program between semesters. This can keep costs down for students and offers a reasonable and convenient alternative to shipping or transporting items home.
- Pre-semester move-in receiving solutions – Students can have their belongings shipped to the campus for pick-up, or delivered directly to their residence hall. To address the challenge of the fall-semester transition, students may be given their mailbox assignments prior to arriving at school so that shipped items are ready for pick-up once students arrive on campus. This will also allow The UPS Store location to consolidate each student’s belongings and have packages available when students arrive on campus.
- Move-out packaging and shipping services – During the move-out period, The UPS Store offers on-site professional packaging and customized UPS shipping services to ensure items are professionally prepared for shipping so items arrive safely at their destination. The UPS Store also offers moving supplies, including moving boxes, tape, cushioning material and labels, for students who prefer to package their belongings themselves. Dolly rentals are also available during the move-in and move-out periods.
- Large public and private universities with a high percentage of out-of-state and international students
- A minimum of 3,500 students living in on-campus housing
- Preferred location is within the student union or other high-traffic retail area, easily accessible for all students, faculty and staff
